Recycling Thoughts

When we recycle we are processing used materials or waste into new products to prevent from wasting resources. The one area that this is not useful is in recycling negative thoughts. When we are recycling, we are processing something that no longer has use into something we can use again.  Therefore, we are recycling negative thoughts back into our thought process to re-use.

Your thoughts are a catalyst for self-perpetuating cycles. What you think directly influences how you feel and how you behave. So if you think you're a failure, you'll feel like a failure. Then, you'll act like a failure, which reinforces your belief that you must be a failure.

It is not easy to simply stop negative thinking. Especially when the experience painfully affected us or we are going through something.  To stop the recycling process we have to actually sit with these negative thoughts and allow them to reveal the message they are attempting to bring forth.  Then we can fully consume the product and there is absolutely nothing left to recycle.  Meaning, we have actually dealt with the thought, learned from it, and then made total peace with it.  Once we do, negative thoughts no longer have any power over us and we can return to a state of Joy with more knowledge of self.

As we begin to take control of our minds, we create a stability upon which we are able to tap into a reserve of POWER.  This helps us still our minds so that we can sit and contemplate the negative thoughts that are cycling through our minds so that we can deal with them.  We are then able to stop the pain, and let go of the recycling process because we have chosen to face the thoughts rather than unconsciously continue to recycle them over and over for future consumption that hinders our desired experiences.
