Strengthen Your Immune System Today!

Our recent class in the Primal Wellness Series was such a hit we wanted to share some of our Top Tips for staying healthy throughout the entire year. On top of eating fresh veggies and washing your hands, here are our favorite supplements and lifestyle tips to help keep you on the go all winter long.

Supplementation
  • Vitamin C → Adults 1000mg/day; Kids up to 500mg twice a day
  • Vitamin D → Adults 2000-5000IU/day; Kids 600-800IU/day
  • Zinc → Eat more of these:
    • ​​​Oysters
    • Organic grass fed beef
    • Sesame, sunflower and pumpkin seeds
    • Wild rice
    • Peanuts, cashews, Pine nuts
    • Adzuki, white, navy, and black beans
    • Split peas
    • ​Teff
    • Lentils
  • Echinacea → Adults One dropperful of tincture 4 times per day/Kids ½ the adult amount
  • Elderberry → Adults ½-1 tablespoon/day; Kids ½-1 teaspoon/day. For treating symptoms use normal dosage every 2-3 hours.
  • Probiotics → Follow the directions on the bottle

Daily Life
  • Sleep → 7-9 hours per night
  • Hydrate → Pee should be clear and copious!
  • Exercise daily
  • Get outside in nature and the fresh air
  • Practice good hygiene
  • Limit sugar intake
  • Fill your plates with nutrient dense foods
  • Limit emotional stress or manage with meditation
  • Get checked and Adjusted!
