Grace is defined as simple elegance or refinement of movement.
The transitions of life are just as important, if not more, than the place we get to or came from. The picture of me during yoga practice is not a pose, it is a transition from one into another. Needed to move through space and make shapes with the body.
The word grace has come up a lot, it’s all around me. It’s come to me in various ways from the universe…..my interpretation of the messages are as follows.
Having grace while doing things is something that is important and necessary in order to transcend time and space.
The way you react to things.
The way you respond and move through.
How you make the transitions.
In the past, I have had hard times transitioning from one thing to another especially, in my mind. I would beat myself up, I would complain, I would feel so sad or unhappy. My mind would overthink. My body would ache and hurt all over. I hurt other people's feelings. I moved harshly and sometimes incognito, both extremes. One was rude and the other was avoidant. Neither were healthy.
We have lots of opportunities to be able to learn this, both big and small. It has taken me a lot of practice and awareness to be able to come face to face with the ability to have grace.
Why is this important? The first word that comes to mind is integrity. I feel like they are directly connected. You can’t have grace without having had integrity first. I have had integrity without grace, so it is possible to still take it one step further. Grace is also another way to show compassion. Compassion to ourselves, not being so hard on ourselves, and compassion to those around us that are affected by the transitions. We are all interconnected and when we show compassion and grace through the tough times in life, or even the easy ones, we show the world a brighter light. A light that shines far out through the galaxy for all to be a witness to and be a part of.
Be aware of how you move through time and space, in order to transcend it. May you live and travel through life with joy, love and grace.
Repeat this affirmation: I choose to transition through obstacles with grace.
Possibly The Coolest Admin Job Ever
How ‘bout we skip right ahead to the center of the tootsie-pop?
Our small business is located in Missoula, MT. We are biased — but we are pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for, ever. And we really believe that we are changing the world (you will see what we mean when you check out our instagram @primal_chiro). Honestly, the job is not all babies and puppy dogs — there is some good news and there is some bad news.
Let’s get the bad news out of the way first:
But, what we don’t expect is perfection or existing skills for you to qualify for this job. We can teach you that. We expect intelligence, energy, and a get it done attitude. When you have questions, you will find the answers with a quick yell down to any other team member.
If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that offer from you. But if you prefer compensation (and we totally get it…we prefer getting paid as well) this is what we offer: This is a part time admin job. You must come into our Missoula, MT office 3 afternoons a week from 2:30-6 (sorry, but this is not a virtual job). There may be more hours on the horizon, but this is what we need right now.
In addition to being a detailed person, you must follow systems and processes. In fact, just to prove that you are detail oriented and can follow procedures, when you apply for this position in the subject line of the email you must include “I have found my type of peeps” in the subject line. Yep, that’s our little trick to sort out the people who blanket send their resume to anyone and everyone, from the folks (that’s you) who are truly interested in this position.
We are looking to bring our new colleague on board as soon as possible, but we will spend the necessary time to find the best fit both in abilities and culturally. One thing that will give you a BIG leg up (but is optional) is to send a quick video along with your resume and application (in fact, everyone who works here did this). In your video tell us why you think you’re perfect for this job and why you will rock this position. This is purely for us to get a sense of your personality. And if you decide not to send a video (that’s ok), please tell us why you chose not to send in a video.
We can’t wait to meet you!!!
